I have always known Independence was a special place, but when I truly saw how amazing this building is, was when my two girls started school here. Throughout February, schools across the Francis Howell School District celebrated Black History Month with meaningful learning experiences and engaging activities.

Kindergarten registration underway for 2026-27 school year

The district has begun the process of registering students for the 2026-27 Kindergarten class. Missouri law states that students must be five years old before the first day of August to enroll in Kindergarten.

FHSD to host free back-to-school immunization clinic

The Francis Howell School District is partnering with Compass Health to hold a free back-to-school immunization clinic this summer. This clinic will allow all kindergarten through 12th-grade students in the district to receive routine immunizations.
